Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside the uterus. It commonly involves the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the tissue lining the pelvis.
David Ahdoot, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified OB-GYN, who serves as a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Ahdoot obtained his medical degree at the University of California San Diego before going on to complete a nationally renowned residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California Irvine. He has authored more than 30 publications and is the recipient of numerous awards including Patient’s Choice Award and the Top 10 Doctor Award in Los Angeles.
In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, he also has an academic affiliation as an assistant clinical professor at UCLA. Dr. Ahdoot has privileges with three area hospitals: Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Encino-Tarzana Hospital, and Providence Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Ahdoot is bilingual in both English and Spanish to better serve the patients in the community.
Dr. Ahdoot specializes in minimally invasive surgery and is a nationally recognized robotic surgeon. Aside from pregnancy, preventive and post-menopausal care, Dr. Ahdoot also strives to help his patients with specific medical conditions including ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, PCOS, urinary incontinence, sexually transmitted diseases and other individualized health needs that may affect women today.
